ELTE Confucius Institute at the Museum of Fine Arts

2025. November 27.

On November 27, 2025, the exhibition titled “Guardians of Eternity – The Terracotta Warri-ors of China’s First Emperor” opened at the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest. The exhibiti-on, which is open to visitors until May 25, 2026, is accompanied by a series of thematic prog-rams showcasing Chinese culture.


One of these was the gala evening held on November 27, where approximately 150 guests, in addition to viewing the exhibition, were treated to spectacular stage performances, including a lion dance by the Hungarian Lion Dance Association and a Chinese-themed show by the Att-raction Visual Theatre.


Meanwhile, teachers of the ELTE Confucius Institute welcomed guests with special tea se-lections and created traditional Chinese good-luck calligraphy inscriptions for visitors in the Romanesque Hall of the Museum of Fine Arts.
