Successful Participation in the Dubbing Contest of Beijing Foreign Studies University

2025. June 04.

On June 4, 2025, BFSU (Beijing Foreign Studies University) announced the results of this year’s dubbing competition. The university organized the event under the title “SEE Love – Sound Chinese”, which was open to students of Confucius Institutes around the world affilia-ted with BFSU.

The jury had 42 entries to evaluate. Participants were required to dub a selected scene from a popular Chinese TV series, film, or anime into Chinese. The jury assessed the pronunciation and the authenticity of the performance as competitors lent their voices to well-known Chi-nese actors or animated characters.

Following a two-stage selection process, the jury awarded one first prize, three second prizes, five third prizes, five excellence awards, and five individual awards. Additionally, two “Best Organization” awards were given based on the number and quality of entries submitted by each Confucius Institute.

The ELTE Confucius Institute was represented by Kristóf Vadász and Miklós Spányik, who chose a scene from the 80-episode series “My Own Swordsman” (《武林外传》), titled “Lyu Qinghou Outsmarts Ji Wuming.” With their outstanding work, they earned a shared second-place prize.
