ELTE Achieves Award for Outstanding Performance in CNKI Academic Power-Up Program

With its outstanding performance in the China National Knowledge Infrastructure’s (CNKI) Academic Power-Up Program, Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) has once again demonstrated excellence in the field of research. ELTE was awarded the "Greatest Download Growth" prize during the month-long initiative, where 49 countries, including 17 European nations, were represented.

CNKI is the most comprehensive Chinese academic platform, encompassing full-length journals, dissertations, yearbooks, reference works, e-books, encyclopedias, patents, standards, scientific and technological achievements, laws, and regulations. In addition to Chinese sources, it also provides access to over 500 million international scientific sources from more than 700 major publishers in over 80 countries.

The CNKI Academic Power-up for New Semester Program is an initiative specifically designed for foreign institutions and individuals, aiming to promote academic work and encourage related reading and downloading activities.

The event took place between September 25 and November 25, 2023. The results speak for themselves, with over 800 institutions and 9,000 newly registered users actively participating during this period.

ELTE stands out among the active participants, achieving the highest download growth in the entire European region for the specified period compared to the same period in 2022. The exceptional result was rewarded with the "Greatest Download Growth" award as part of the initiative.
