The Children’s Day was a huge success at the City Park
2023. May 28.
The ELTE Confucius Institute was again present on the last Sunday of May in City Park of Budapest where the families were offered several cultural events.
The event, which was held on May 28, was an opporunity for children and adults to learn more about China’s unigue culture and art.
The children could learn some calligraphy or how to use the chopsticks. Smaller children were fascinated by the Beijing Opera mask colouring.
This year, for the first time, there was also a stage production, the famous lion dance, performed by three lions. The Institute's martial artists readily helped the children onto the "lions” to ride them.
