Confucius Institute at ELTE University Hosted a Performance by Exchange Students from the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music

2022. December 02.

At 14:00 local time on December 2nd, the Confucius Institute held a concert in the Kodály room of ELTE University. All the performers were exchange students from the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music. The concert lasted two hours and attracted more than 50 people.

The Concert

Following an excerpt from Mozart's opera The Marriage of Figaro, the students performed Chinese and foreign classics including The Song of Youth, Othello, and Jasmine Flower. The performances were simple but refined, from solo singing to piano performances, from Western classics to Chinese masterpieces. Moreover, the content was a combination of Chinese and Western pieces, which made the audience deeply immersed, culminating in several rounds of applause throughout the concert.
