Young Learners Chinese Test(YCT)
Young Learners Chinese Test is a test for non-native Chinese learners under the age of 15.
It consists of Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3.
a. Level 1
It aims for youngsters who have studied Chinese for roughly 150 hours and mastered a vocabulary of about 500 characters.
b. Level 2
It aims for youngsters who have studied Chinese for roughly 250 hours and mastered a vocabulary of about 1100 characters.
c. Level 3
It aims for youngsters who have studied Chinese for roughly 400 hours and mastered a vocabulary of about 1700 characters.

Score:
Examinees receive certification appropriate to their exam results. The table below indicates the number of panda symbols corresponding to the standard rating. One panda corresponds to grade C (successful test), two pandas to grade B (good result), three pandas to grade A (high result). The maximum possible score is 100.

Each examinee will receive notification of the test scores. The candidates who gain the minimum score required for a successful exam will also receive a certification of test completion.
