The last HSK and HSKK exams of the spring semester 2022/2023 have been completed

On Sunday, 16 July 2023, 130 candidates took part in written and oral Chinese language examinations at the ELTE Confucius Institute. There were examinees of HSK levels 1 to 6, as well as of the HSKK basic, intermediate and advanced-level exams.

A total of 91 people registered for the HSK and 39 for the HSKK, and although the temperature was quite high on Sunday, it did not deter our HSK and HSKK candidates from coming to take the exam.

Much to our surprise, this time our examination centre, which has been awarded the title of ‘Excellent Chinese Language Examination Centre’ multiple times, received candidates not only from Hungary, but also from Austria, Serbia, Romania and Poland.

Our institute also provided thorough training on the duties of an examiner for Chinese and Hungarian teachers and staff who served as examiners in order to make the examination process as smooth as possible.

Our next HSK and HSKK language tests will take place on 15 October 2023, with registration expected to open in early August. More information on how to apply can be found here.

In addition on 11 November 2023, we will be holding our last Youth Chinese Test (YCT), a language test specifically designed for children. For more information about the exam and how to apply, click here.

n the autumn of 2023, our institute's examination centre will reach another milestone: on 25 November 2023, the Medical Chinese Test (MCT) will be held for the first time in Hungary and at our Institute.

This year, there will be a total of four more language examinations, the dates of which are as follows:

HSK&HSKK:
15 October 2023 (Sunday)
3 December 2023 (Sunday)

YCT:
11 November 2023 (Saturday)

MCT:
25 November 2023 (Saturday)
